In May 2018 my mom was diagnosed with leukemia.
In September 2018 she received a bone marrow transplant.
In April 2019 she died.
I am still grieving, but (very) slowly healing.
To honor my mom, I am starting a donation campaign to AIL ONLUS on Instagram (check the post at the bottom of the page).
AIL ONLUS in a non-profit organisation.
Its mission is to:
– promote and support research,
– improve patients and their families’ quality of life and provide direct assistance to patients in their struggle against blood diseases,
– raise awareness of blood disease issues.
